چکیده
Objectives: To evaluate the influence of implant geometry and anatomical region on stability. Methods: A randomized controlled clinical trial was conducted 45 patients, in whom a total 79 implants were placed: 40 MIS C1 Implants 39 Seven Implants. The stability quotient measured using resonance frequency analysis immediately after placement 8 weeks later with an Osstell Mentor device. Results: 76 analyzed. statistically significantly higher for secondary than primary (68.7±8,6 vs. 65.2±10.3, respectively, p=0.023). Considering stability, no statistical differences found between lengths 8.0 mm, 10.0 11.0 11.5 mm (67.9±7.6, 63.9±10, 57.2±11.1, 66.4±11.3, p=0.312). same observed (68.4±9.4, 67.9±9.3, 74.7±1.5, 69.2±7.9, p=0.504). Also, there significant diameters 3.75 4.20 concerning (64.3±8.7 66.1±11.7 p=0.445) or (68.8±8.2 68.7±9.1 p=0.930). Regarding design, difference only favoring (p=0.048). intraoral location both as these anterior maxilla posterior mandible (p<0.05). Conclusions: diameter length studied did not their Implant design may whereas has relevant effect

Influence of implant diameter on surrounding bone.
OBJECTIVES Implant osseointegration is dependent upon various factors, such as bone quality and type of implant surface. It is also subject to adaptation in response to changes in bone metabolism or transmission of masticatory forces. Understanding of long-term physiologic adjustment is critical to prevention of potential loss of osseointegration, especially because excessive occlusal forces le...
متن کاملInfluence of the implant-abutment connection design and diameter on the screw joint stability
PURPOSE This study was conducted to evaluate the influence of the implant-abutment connection design and diameter on the screw joint stability. MATERIALS AND METHODS Regular and wide-diameter implant systems with three different joint connection designs: an external butt joint, a one-stage internal cone, and a two-stage internal cone were divided into seven groups (n=5, in each group). The in...

BACKGROUND The aim of the present clinical study was to determine the local bone density in dental implant recipient sites using computerized tomography (CT) and to investigate the influence of local bone density on implant stability parameters and implant success. METHODS A total of 300 implants were placed in 111 patients between 2003 and 2005. The bone density in each implant recipient sit...
متن کاملInfluence of Orbital Implant Length and Diameter on Stress Distribution: A Finite Element Analysis
PURPOSE A mathematical simulation of stress distribution around orbital implants was used to determine which length and diameter of implants would be best to dissipate stress. METHODS An integrated system for computed tomography data was utilized to create a 3-dimensional model of craniofacial structures. The model simulated implants placed in the 7, 11, and 12 o'clock positions of the orbita...
